It is the waning days of summer as I write this newsletter, and many of our friends are enjoying summer vacations. It is also the beginning of the New Year for your Ahepa Chapter. We have been busy developing our calendar for the 2006-2007 year and we have some great ideas. We are looking forward with enthusiasm and expectation.
Although our November Glendi may be delayed a bit we have activities planned for December and after the New Year of 2007.
October the District 20 Scholarship applications are available and need to be submitted by March 2007. Under the guidance of Chris Compogiannis the scholarship fund has grown tremendously and we will have the opportunity to be even more generous than in the past. The applicant can be of any level of college and in any program, but must be connected to the Ahepa family. This is usually through membership of the applicant or through the membership of the parents. Our Ahepa Chapter will always welcome everyone who wishes membership, but know that you are joining a very forward looking and enthusiastic team that has a vision of the future. As our Parish begins the New Ecclesiastical year with Fr. Simon at the helm let us all work together to create a spectacular year of accomplishments
