AHEPA Supports the National Day of Public Service
Dear Brothers, Sisters, and friends of the AHEPA Family:
Today, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a national Day of Service is observed. Our fellow citizens are volunteering in their communities in response to Dr. King's question, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you and your chapter doing for others?"

Nick Vamvakias)
On Saturday, January 16, I was proud to join with DOP Executive Director Elena Saviolakis, my staff and Ahepans from the metropolitan Washington DC area to lend a helping hand at Martha's Table as part of AHEPA's participation in the "United We Serve" public service initiative. At Martha's Table, we helped prepare meals for Washington DC's homeless and infirmed citizens, most of whom are children. It was quite a moving experience.
