It is February and the seeds planted during the winter months are ready to sprout with the advent of spring. Here is a listing of coming events.
Ahepa Scholarship Applications deadlines are March 1st for the District 20, and the AhepAcademy program, and March 31st for the National Ahepa Scholarship program. The deadline for the Journey to Greece program has passed but may be extended.

Your Ahepa Chapter has the following events planed and details are being addressed:
1) A trip to the Getty in late February to view the Icons and Holy items from the Monestary of St. Catherine located at the foot of Mt. Sinai. Details are forthcoming.
2) Greek Independence Day Event on Saturday March 24th at the Fess Parker DoubleTree Resort-Honored guest Governor Michael Dukakis. This is a fund raising event for our scholarship programs. This will be a special and memorable evening with community leaders attending. Invitations will be mailed out shortly. We anticipate our community and citizens of our city to be in attendance.
3) April we all will celebrate Easter with our friends of the Western Church
4) May hosts two events: Saturday, May 19th-we will host our Ahepa Glendi with food and dancing. This community event will have a few new and enjoyable twists, Sunday May 20th we will host with the Daughters of Penelope the Sunday coffee Hour to honor Ahepa Sunday.
5) June hosts another Ahepa fund raising event-open to the public-Details to follow.
