Supreme President George Londy, Helen Katsaros, and Tasha Vanos, Past Supreme Presidents, and 20 other Australian Ahepans stayed on after last year's Supreme Convention in San Diego. They spent three weeks visiting the western United States, starting with Arizona and the Grand Canyon. Next came Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, San Francisco, Carmel, Monterey, Hearst Castle, Solvang, Santa Barbara and finally, Disneyland.

District Governor Constantino Frangos was able to spend quality time with this incredible group of Ahepans while entertaining them between Solvang and Santa Barbara. The Australian Ahepans appreciated the Southern California hospitality, and they especially enjoyed the margarita drinks and the chicken and fish lunches while looking over the Pacific Ocean. On the last leg of their journey, they visited the Santa Barbara Mission.

District Governor Frangos commented that he was amazed at how similar the Australian members were to us. Many of them were first and second generation Australians. They were true Ahepans and Hellenes coming to America to see their brother Ahepans, yet many of them had never been to Greece.

Upon their departure, they graciously invited all of us to visit them when we next take a trip to Australia.
